ADHD Coaching

You don't need fixing.

You need a way of working with the brain you already have.

Living with ADHD can feel like constantly swimming against the current.

You know what needs to be done.
You care deeply about doing it well.

Yet somehow the same patterns keep repeating themselves—procrastination, overwhelm, forgotten deadlines, unfinished projects, self-criticism, and the feeling that you're always working harder than everyone else just to stay afloat.

ADHD coaching isn't about becoming someone different.

It's about understanding how your mind works, discovering your strengths, and building a way of living that works with your brain rather than against it.

Feed the good wolf. Find your direction.

ADHD isn't just about attention

One of the biggest misconceptions about ADHD is that it's simply an attention disorder.

It isn't.

ADHD can affect many parts of everyday life, including:

Every person experiences ADHD differently.

That's why coaching isn't about following a fixed programme.

It's about discovering what works for you.

Coaching isn't about giving advice.

Many people think coaching is someone telling them what they should do.

That isn't how I work.

Coaching is a collaborative conversation.

Together we explore what's happening beneath the surface—not simply the behaviour itself, but the patterns, beliefs and environments that keep those behaviours alive.

Sometimes that means untangling years of shame.

Sometimes it means understanding why your brain seems to come alive under pressure.

Sometimes it means finding practical systems that finally make sense.

The answers rarely come from me.

More often, they emerge from you.

My role is to ask the questions that help you see yourself more clearly.

What ADHD coaching looks like

01

Safety

Before change can happen, people need somewhere they don't have to pretend.

Our sessions are free from judgement, criticism and shame.

Many people with ADHD have spent years believing they are lazy, broken or simply "not trying hard enough."

Coaching begins by creating a space where you can finally think without defending yourself.

02

Understanding Your ADHD

Every ADHD brain is different.

Together we'll explore how ADHD shows up in your life.

Your strengths.
Your challenges.
Your energy patterns.
Your interests.
Your motivation.
Your executive functioning.
Your environment.

Understanding your brain is the first step toward working with it rather than constantly fighting against it.

03

Collaboration

This isn't something that is done to you.

We work together.

You bring your experience.

I bring my coaching, my lived experience, my understanding of ADHD, and evidence-informed approaches.

The agenda is always yours.

The solutions are always yours.

My role is to help you discover them.

04

Curiosity

One of the biggest gifts of coaching is learning to replace judgement with curiosity.

Instead of asking,
"Why am I like this?"

we begin asking,
"What's happening here?"

That small shift changes everything.

Because curiosity opens possibilities that shame never can.

05

Action

Insight alone doesn't change lives.

Every session ends with one or two realistic actions.

Not perfect actions.

Not overwhelming actions.

Just the next step.

Progress is built one experiment at a time.

People often come to coaching because...

I keep making the same mistakes.

I know exactly what I need to do…
…but I never seem to do it.

I'm constantly overwhelmed.

I procrastinate until the last minute.

I work brilliantly under pressure…
…but the stress is destroying me.

I feel like I'm always disappointing myself.

I can't get started on my dissertation.

I need systems that actually work for my brain.

I don't understand my ADHD.

I want to stop surviving and start living.

What happens during a coaching session?

  1. 01

    Arrive

    We begin by creating space.

    No judgement.
    No rush.
    No pretending everything is fine.

  2. 02

    Choose a direction

Together we decide what would make today's session valuable. Usually we work towards a goal that you decide on.

  3. 03

    Explore

    We'll look beneath the surface.

Through thoughtful questions—and sometimes using frameworks like the GROW model—we explore what's really happening, not just what appears on the surface.

  4. 04

    Understand

Where helpful, I'll introduce psychoeducation about ADHD to help explain why your brain responds the way it does and how you can make better use of your natural strengths.

  5. 05

    Act

We finish by agreeing on one or two practical actions that feel realistic and achievable before our next conversation.

Coaching works best when...

  • You're open to exploring different ways of doing things.
  • You're willing to be curious about yourself.
  • You're prepared to experiment.
  • You understand that lasting change happens one small step at a time.

Coaching isn't...

  • Therapy
  • Counselling
  • Medical advice
  • Diagnosis
  • Someone telling you how to live your life
  • Someone "fixing" you

Instead...

It's a partnership focused on helping you understand yourself more deeply and move towards the life you want to build.

A Coaching Journey That Is Built Together

Although I usually recommend beginning with a package of ten sessions, there is no fixed curriculum.

Every client arrives with different strengths, different challenges and different goals.

Some clients want support at work.

Others are navigating university, relationships, emotional regulation or life transitions.

Together we decide what matters most.

Each session begins by identifying what would make that conversation valuable, and the coaching evolves as your understanding of yourself grows.

There is no script.

No one-size-fits-all programme.

The direction is yours.

My role is to walk alongside you.

What changes after ten sessions?

Not because I have changed you.
Because you've begun changing the relationship you have with yourself.

Clients often leave with:

  • a clearer understanding of how their ADHD shows up in everyday life
  • practical strategies that fit their own brain rather than someone else's
  • greater self-compassion
  • more confidence in making decisions
  • reduced shame and self-criticism
  • sustainable systems for work, study and everyday life
  • a renewed appreciation that their differences can also be strengths

The goal isn't perfection.

The goal is building a life that feels more manageable, more meaningful and more authentically yours.

ADHD Coaching Is a Mirror

People sometimes ask me what ADHD coaching is really like.

The simplest answer I can give is this:

It's a mirror.

Not the kind of mirror that points out everything that's wrong with you.

The kind that quietly reflects who you are without filters.

For many people with ADHD, that can feel uncomfortable at first.

We spend years listening to messages about what we should be doing, how we should be different, why we keep making the same mistakes or why everyone else seems able to cope with things that feel so difficult for us.

Eventually, those voices become our own.

Coaching invites us to look again.

Not to judge ourselves.
Not to excuse ourselves.
But to understand ourselves more honestly.

Very often, the things we see as flaws begin to look different.

Sometimes they're strengths that have never been given the right environment.

Sometimes they're coping strategies that no longer serve us.

Sometimes they're simply parts of ourselves that deserve a little more compassion.

For me, ADHD coaching isn't about creating a new person.

It's about helping you discover the person who has been there all along.

Ready to Begin?

You only need enough curiosity to take the first step.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you start.

You don't need the perfect plan.

You don't even need to know exactly what you want to change.

If you're ready to explore your ADHD with honesty, compassion and practical action, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
